Travel Advisory – One Carry-On Bag Allowed for Passengers Travelling to the US January 19, 2010
Transport Canada now permits one carry-on bag for passengers travelling to the United States. This carry-on bag must not exceed 23 cm x 40 cm x 55 cm (9 in x 16 x 22 in), which is equivalent to the size of a small gym bag. Personal items such as reading material, electronic equipment and medications must be stored in the carry-on bag.
Domestic and international (except US) travellers are allowed a maximum of two carry-on bags. For further information, please consult the Transport Canada or CATSA websites.
